My name is Steve Butler…
I’m a photographer based in London, UK.
I’ve owned a camera for as long as I can remember, but a chance meeting with a professional photographer in a taxi on the way home from a friend’s wedding in 2012 convinced me to get more serious about digital photography and in trying to create beautiful images.
My passion is for people photography, especially portrait photography, family events and weddings. My style is normally “photojournalistic”, eschewing ‘formal’ or ‘staged’ photography in order to capture those natural, candid ‘moments’ that make any event uniquely special.
I prefer shooting in natural light, but can supplement it with flash as the situation demands.
