A derelict 1821 chapel (aka Asylum) in Peckham formed a stunning backdrop to this dance/portrait workshop arranged by London Photography Social. In these images, beautiful Bella still manages to look serene despite the decidedly chilly air and bum-freezing stonework.
First Image – At the back of the chapel are the remains of a staircase that must once have led to a gallery. There is a window there and the soft directional light allowed me to create this natural light portrait. Ostensibly, a pretty straight forward shot, without caution it would have been all too easy to over expose and lose all detail in the skirt.
